Vision

The artist’s rendering gives a glimpse of the grandeur of Lama Tharchin Rinpoche and Lama Sonam Tsering Rinpoche’s vision of the Joyful Lotus Stupa Mandala at Pema Osel Ling, enclosing the Stupa Mandala with a wall composed of masonry columns alternating with specially designed wrought iron panels of the Eight Auspicious Symbols. Atop the wall will be 128 small stone stupas, each a replica of one of the eight Sugatas Buddha stupas.

The Red Dorje Drolo Stupa Mandala will have a gate at the four cardinal directions surrounded by a paved circumambulation (korwa) path with prayer flags, lights, and beautiful landscaping. Plans also include a large tent for practice.

Lama Sonam Tsering Rinpoche, the spiritual director of the Vajrayana Foundation, has committed to bringing this vision to fruition. We appreciate any contribution you make and together we will accomplish this project.

This is an opportunity to make a connection especially to the Dorje Drolo Stupa, which removes all kinds of obstacles, outwardly balancing the elements and empowering world peace, inwardly pacifying physical elements such as sickness and disease and secretly pacifying mind imbalances such as depression, emotions, and confusion. Together we will accomplish this auspicious endeavor to accumulate great merit and everlasting wisdom until enlightenment.
