Exciting update on the Red Droje Drolo Stupa Mandala Project!
The 152 stone stupas for the Red Dorje Drolo Stupa Mandala and 5 Tara statues arrived from Orissa, India 2 weeks ago to the Oakland dock and on Monday were transferred onto trucks to be transported to Pema Osel Ling.
These 152 stupas will be installed atop the planned auspicious iron fence which will encircle the main 30′ Red Dorje Drolo Stupa and surrounding eight stupas that represent the eight important events in the Buddha’s life. The Red Dorje Drolo Stupa Mandala was created by Lama Tharchin Rinpoche and Lama Sonam Rinpoche to be a holy place of pilgrimage for generations and donations are needed to complete Lama Tharchin Rinpoche’s vision. Donations would be used towards infrastructure, auspicious fence, interior courtyard mandala, and exterior korwa path.
